With support from Digital Xtra Fund, we are delivering coding clubs in Renfrewshire secondary schools, in partnership with Renfrewshire Council.
The clubs will use the BBC Micro:bit to develop digital skills and an interest in digital careers. The clubs will be supported by Continuous Profesiosnal Development (CPD) Sessions run in partnership with Microsoft Education to help Renfrewshire teachers learn how to use coding in the classroom.
The project will provide the pupils with the opportunity to learn how to code with the Microbit and also encourage them to learn how to create games and apps using TouchDevelop.
