This 1-day course provides an introduction to the absolute fundamentals of IT. It assumes little or no previous knowledge or experience of operating IT equipment. It is designed to provide workers with no previous exposure to IT the confidence to interact with employee self-management systems and enter data into systems.

- The ways in which we can interact with IT (keyboard, finger, stylus, mouse, voice, biometric)
- What is logging on and logging off? What is email? What is the internet?
- What is a web browser? What's a computer virus?
- How can I browse the internet safely? How do I search the internet?
- Filling out forms in a web browser
- What is cloud computing?
- How can I create and save a document?
- What is uploading and downloading?
- How can I search and retrieve a document or record?
- Where can I learn more?
