Course Overview
Course Aims
Candidates will gain knowledge and understanding of how to safely isolate electrical systems allowing electrical repairs or installations to then be carried out.

It provides the skills necessary to safely isolate electrical supplies. Provides the knowledge and understanding required to undertake safe electrical isolation.
Outline of Programme
- Covers the Electricity at Work regulations
- Demonstrates the procedure for safe isolation
- Allows practical skills in safe isolation to be developed
- Looks at different types of voltage testing equipment and compliance
Entry Requirements
There are no pre-entry requirements
Exam
- Multiple choice paper
- Practical exam
Course Duration
1 day. 9am to 5pm. Or 2 evenings.

This course requires a minimum of 10 participants to run. If this number isn’t reached then you will be contacted to offer you the next available date
