Media Training for Managers

The course will equip you with the skills required to control your message when interacting with broadcast media or creating self-generated media content for social media or corporate branding. It will further increase your knowledge and confidence while presenting or leading a discussion emphasising specific tools and techniques for improving your presentation skills, delivering effective messages and bridging different communication styles.

Working with media specialists you will improve your delivery on camera, analyse your performance using our TV studio and Edit suite and drop in your own graphics using our green screen. You can leave with a branded video that can be uploaded to your social media or work with us to develop more video and online media content.

Progression and Career Opportunities

Increasing knowledge and confidence of presenting or leading a discussions while also improving delivery on camera will help those in senior roles who deal with the media as well as those who aspire to progress into these roles.

The content can be shaped to your specific requirements but options include:

• Self-analysis of your presentation and interview skills focusing on strengths and weaknesses
• Theory around current thinking
• Deliver a 2 minute speech on a subject which is filmed and viewed, looking at strengths and areas for improvement
• The Voice (vocal workshop)
• Body language
• Effective Communication
• Interview skills and techniques
• Tackling nerves, tips and tricks, aide memoires
• Create a script for your companies or a personal film
• Create your media content in our multi camera TV studio with green screen to fit in your graphics or backgrounds
• Work with your presentation in our edit suite

• Playback of the Presentations and discussion looking at what went well and what could have been better
• Pointers for the future and further improvements
