WEATHER CONDITIONS AND CAMPUS OPENING TOMORROW, 1 MARCH 2018
The Met Office has issued a “red” warning for disruption because of widespread snow during today and into tomorrow. The forecast is for disruption to continue through to 10:00 tomorrow. The College will continue to monitor the forecast and would look to make an assessment on whether the College will be open tomorrow by 10pm tonight (28 February).

28 Renfrewshire Schools teachers attend Digital Development Sessions
The sessions, supported by the Digital Xtra Fund, aimed at enhancing their use of coding in the classroom. On completing the course each participating teacher was granted their own resource pack to take back to their schools including a complete set of Micro:Bit’s, thanks to sponsorship from Micro:Bit Foundation.

Clydebank Campus electrical apprentice Jordan enjoys success at the SELECT industry awards
Jordan Gilchrist, 23, won runner-up at this year's SELECT Apprentice of the Year competition. He was interviewed by CABLEtalk, the official magazine of SELECT, the trade body which supports the interests of Scotland's electrical sector. Sailing into the Special Olympics 2018
Taking second and third place at last year’s qualifier at Sheffield, twenty year old Jamie Cairns and twenty-one year old Shannon McGhee have secured their place at the 2018 Special Olympics in Abu Dhabi.

Coding Clubs launched in three more schools
On receiving additional funding from The Digital Xtra Fund, we are delighted to have successfully launched Coding Clubs into a further three Renfrewshire Secondary schools. The clubs aim at engaging S1/2 pupils in the use of the BBC Micro:Bit amongst other digital programmes and encouraging them to become more involved in coding.
