Nine Danish retail students from Business College Syd arrived in Paisley at the end of March, and have just finished three week placements with local businesses.

M&Co in Paisley welcomed Lasse Due and Tobias Østergaard; Boots Braehead supported Lena Jørgensen, Melissa Victoria Vestergaard, and Mads Mikkelsen Zoega; and Dobbies Braehead had four students on placement - Fillip Bjerrestrand Frank, Jonathan Rasmussen, Lukas Vogensen, and Oliver Møbjerg Wolff.

Five West College Scotland HNC and HND Travel and Tourism students will also travel to Sonderborg on Monday to undertake two week placements in the Danish Tourism industry, including at the local history museum and tourist information office. The students are Erin Lowrie, Paulina Hameed, Yvonne White, Reece McPherson, and Julia Okun.

Allan Dick, Economic Development Manager, said:

We were delighted to welcome students from Business College Syd again this year, and they were a credit to their College.

We are extremely grateful to Dobbies, Boots, and M&Co for providing high quality placements for the Danish students, and our students are excited to begin their placements in Denmark.
