After the success of the Pre-Apprentice Electrical Installation course at our Clydebank campus we are opening applications for our Paisley campus this August and women we are keen to hear from you! The 18-week course is designed to give you the skills to get a role as an apprentice electrician in the domestic or industrial sector - a rewarding career with many opportunities.
On this course you'll learn about:
- Health and Safety
- Electrical Installation
- Cable Management and Wiring Systems
- Electrical Theory
To apply for the course, you'll need two National 4 or 5 passes at grade 3 or above, and one National 5 pass in Maths. If you don't have these qualifications but have industry experience or other qualifications, we'll consider still your application.
We’re keen to recruit more females to this course and for any aspiring female Pre-Apprentices there will be a taster session scheduled for the Wednesday 14th August at our Paisley Campus 9am-4pm. You'll be able to meet and hear from Pre-Apprentices that have just finished their course and current Electrical Apprentices – why not register your interest and we will keep you up to date!
