Art and Design students team up with St Mirren legend Tony Fitzpatrick for a branding brief.

Legacycomps WCS

Our Paisley campus HNC Art and Design students are working with former football hero Tony Fitzpatrick on an exciting rebrand project for his company Legacycomps Prize Bonanza.

The idea behind Legacycomps was driven by Tony after witnessing so many small sports clubs, charities and good causes constantly struggle for funds just to survive. Tony’s mission is to raise money through weekly and monthly prize draws which will allow him to help these organisations continue to exist and help change lives.

Art and Design Lecturer Deborah Dennett said, “Working on a live project is a fully immersive learning experience for the students, with the bonus that perhaps one of the designs will be selected and used across a wide variety of promotional material”.

Tony Fitzpatrick commented,

I am absolutely delighted that the Art & Design students from the Paisley Campus have taken on the project to help rebrand Legacycomps Prize Bonanza Logo.

. . I started this venture so I could give back to youth sports clubs, charities and general good causes. As I have spent most of my life at St. Mirren and Paisley it is great to have the talented students based in the town help me take it to another level”.

It's over to the students now to create a diverse range of creative solutions to present back in a few weeks’ time – watch this space!
