With 15 new apprentices across three trade disciplines, this further confirms the partners commitment to investing in future talent, building capacity, and improving the life chances of our young people.

Former West College Scotland student Fiona McGregor, 31, who graduated with a 2.1 BA (Hons) Drama, Theatre and Performance from the College has gone on to establish her own very successful stage school - Stage Avenue.

This upcoming academic year, West College Scotland will be one of one 3 colleges across Scotland to be delivering the pioneering Next Gen HNC Engineering – Mechanical and Electrical. Being offered at our Greenock campus as an additional exciting course to our extensive Engineering offering, the Next Gen qualifications have been adapted by the Scottish Qualifications Authority to give our learners the skills they need to thrive in the 21st century workplace.
