West College Scotland’s HR and Organisational Development team have received multiple recognitions for their work recently.

The My Conversation project which saw the launch of an innovative employee led approach to staff professional development and the supporting Evolve platform have been shortlisted in two categories in the 16th HR Network National Awards 2023, in the HR Project of the Year and Organisational Development of the Year categories. The awards recognise, acknowledge and reward the leaders of the Scottish HR profession.

The pioneering initiative also made the final 3 in the Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce ICON Awards which celebrate local business achievements and talent in Inverclyde.

Finally, the project was shortlisted in the Innovation category at the CDN College Awards which recognise the talent, innovation and achievement demonstrated by colleges, their staff and their learners. This year CDN received over 150 inspiring submissions highlighting the fantastic work of Scotland’s colleges. All awards will be announced later this year.
