CITB suggest around 22,500 new roles will need to be created by 2028 to achieve the Scottish Government’s net zero goals and this new course designed for professionals and students within the construction industry who are keen to deepen their expertise in upgrading domestic buildings focuses on the essential knowledge required to support the transition towards Net Zero, a critical objective in the fight against climate change.
The vocational award introduces learners to the fundamentals of retrofit, covering essential topics such as energy efficiency, sustainable building materials, and the latest technologies in building treatments.
The online nature of the course provides flexible learning opportunities for individuals currently working or with prior experience in the construction sector, allowing them to transition seamlessly into the retrofit sector.
