Kathryn has been honoured with the 2024 Dermalogica Lecturer Appreciation Award, a prestigious accolade from the renowned professional skincare brand. This award recognises Kathryn's hard work, dedication, and commitment to delivering outstanding education, reflecting her exceptional contribution to the field.

What made the award even more special was that she was nominated for by her own beauty students. Kathryn said, “Receiving this award is a privilege. To be nominated by my students is the highest honour, it is a testament to the hard work I put in throughout the year. Their recognition is my greatest achievement which inspires me to continue working hard to help them achieve success in the future.”

Kathryn, who is a former student at West recently became a “Dermalogica® Expert”, completing the leading brands training programme to the highest level of skin therapist recognised globally.

She said, “I have worked hard this year to retain my Expert status through further training. Dermalogica® Experts are known globally as a reliable source of applied skin care knowledge and expertise and can deliver highly personalised advice and treatments. Experts can be completely trusted with your skin health. I love being able to pass my expertise on to my students at West".
