22 May – HNC Fashion Graded Event

Our talented Makeup Artistry students will be at Braehead Shopping Centre on Wed 22 May 4.30pm-6.30pm presenting their looks, inspired by their favourite makeup and fashion brands. You will be able to see them in action doing the finishing touches to their creations as well as a catwalk show.

28 May – Greenock Music Showcase

Join us for our Greenock Music students end of year showcase, 'Indie Party' on Tuesday 28 May at 7.30pm at the Beacon Art Centre. Set to be an unforgettable night of indie vibes and sensational performances.

28 -30 May – The Hypochondriac by Moliere, Theatre space Paisley Campus

Tuesday 28 May: 6pm

Wednesday 29 May: 1.00pm and 7.00pm.

Thursday 30 May: 7.00pm.

The story:

The setting is the Roaring 20's , a rich mans lavish mansion. Argan is a rich man obsessed with his own health, his obsession makes him fall prey to quack doctors who charge him extortionate amounts for medicines and treatments he does not need, his bills are totting up so he decides to marry his offspring into a doctors family intending to get all his treatment for free, unfortunately his child is already in love and is resistant to the marriage helped along by the butler Antoine who is cleverly plotting to break the doctors hold over his master. Added to this he is married to a goldigger Beline who simply wants all his money to pass to her and not his legal heir. Chaos ensues as Antoine's plans unravel. 5 & 6 June – The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, Theatre space Paisley Campus

The story:

When Christopher Boone discovers a dead dog in his neighbourhood a tapestry of family secrets begin to unravel… Based on the bestselling book by Mark Haddon, HND Acting & Performance proudly invite you into Christopher’s gloriously neurodivergent view of the world. Simon Stephens play adaptation is as funny, moving and inciteful as the original novel. Come and spend a couple of hours solving the mystery of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time. 12 June – Dance Showcase

West College Scotland Dance students across all levels express themselves in a captivating performance. A passionate and vibrant dance performance where you will be mesmerised watching our performers dream with their feet.
