In support of sustainable development in our local community, West College Scotland in partnership with Renfrewshire Council, are launching the Renfrewshire Net Zero Workforce Development Fund (NZWDF). This innovative funding initiative sees the College receive £100,000 of funding to facilitate 40 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Renfrewshire to enhance their infrastructure and equip their workforce with the essential skills and competencies needed to deliver cutting-edge net zero services to their customer base.
Aligned with Renfrewshire's commitment to achieving net zero goals, the NZWDF will provide participating SMEs with access to a tailored small grant programme funding expert training, and ongoing support from West College Scotland. Additionally, the initiative will facilitate opportunities for SMEs to leverage additional funding sources and receive strategic advice to maximise business growth potential.

The funding is available to any private sector small to medium sized enterprises with a registered address in the Renfrewshire council area. A range of green skills focused courses are available from Electric Vehicle Charging to Ground & Air Source Heat Pumps and Solar Thermal Systems.
