On Saturday 16th November, the team from TrustFord Glasgow will host a special ‘Drive 4UR Community’ Test Drive event at their dealership located at 21 Napier Rd, Hillington, Park, Glasgow, in support of West College Scotland. For each test drive taken, Ford will donate £20 to the College, up to a maximum of £6,000.
James McLaren, General Manager of TrustFord Glasgow, expressed excitement about the event, saying,
“We are delighted to partner with Ford on this community initiative. West College Scotland makes such a significant impact on our local area, and we’re excited to support them. We invite everyone in Glasgow to come out, take a test drive, and help us reach our goal.”
West College Scotland provides high-quality education and training, creating pathways for students to succeed in their careers. The College will launch the initiative at their Paisley, Abercorn Conference Centre next week. By participating in the test drive event, attendees will be directly contributing to the college’s efforts to support local students and their educational journeys.
Sam Thomson, Head of Engineering Technologies at West College Scotland, shared his enthusiasm for the initiative, saying,
“This partnership is a wonderful opportunity for the College and our students. The funds raised through the ‘Drive 4UR Community’ event will directly support our efforts to provide high-quality education and training that transform lives. We’re grateful for the community’s support and encourage everyone to participate in this fantastic event.”
