Students will be offered an extensive overview of the construction sector, providing the opportunity to explore various trades including plumbing, electrical and bricklaying before deciding which path to pursue in their future careers.

With the generous support of Morrison Construction, who are sponsoring the courses being delivered at West’s Clydebank and Paisley campuses, students will benefit from invaluable industry insight, including site visits, career talks from key supply chain members, and the opportunity for work experience, linking in with the Faifley Community Campus development and Paisley Grammar School development to provide valuable learning opportunities for the students.   

This hands-on exposure is designed to increase students' employability and open doors to potential employment opportunities.

In addition to sponsoring the courses, Morrison Construction have also kindly donated essential tools and personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure that the students have everything they need to succeed during their time at college.
