Reaching a cup final in our debut season is significant achievement, made possible through though the drive and determination of the team, who are all West College Scotland students, with representation from all campuses and a range of curriculum areas. The team train once a week led by HND Students and the committee is also student-led, taking ownership on and off the pitch from secretary duties and social media as well as event and home fixture organising, developing invaluable transferrable skills to take with them beyond college.

Active Communities Coordinator, Savannah Antoine said,

“To reach a cup final in our very first season is something truly special and it wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of the student led committee. Alongside the collaboration of the College’s Wellbeing Matters team, the Student Association & the Sport and Fitness department, who collaboratively support the students on this journey.”

The team will head to St Andrew’s on 5th March to face Heriot-Watt University in the final – we wish them all the best of luck!
