28 Renfrewshire Schools teachers attend Digital Development Sessions
The sessions, supported by the Digital Xtra Fund, aimed at enhancing their use of coding in the classroom. On completing the course each participating teacher was granted their own resource pack to take back to their schools including a complete set of Micro:Bit’s, thanks to sponsorship from Micro:Bit Foundation.

Clydebank Campus electrical apprentice Jordan enjoys success at the SELECT industry awards
Jordan Gilchrist, 23, won runner-up at this year's SELECT Apprentice of the Year competition. He was interviewed by CABLEtalk, the official magazine of SELECT, the trade body which supports the interests of Scotland's electrical sector. Coding Clubs launched in three more schools
On receiving additional funding from The Digital Xtra Fund, we are delighted to have successfully launched Coding Clubs into a further three Renfrewshire Secondary schools. The clubs aim at engaging S1/2 pupils in the use of the BBC Micro:Bit amongst other digital programmes and encouraging them to become more involved in coding.
