World record breakers - 400+ Paisley school kids take part in the world’s largest ever architecture lesson
Utilising the coding game Minecraft, 406 pupils from eight local primary schools were guided through a history of Paisley’s architecture while also learning how to use code to quickly create buildings within the game.

College Recognised as “Living Wage Employer”
West College Scotland has been officially recognised as a Living Wage employer. The accreditation comes from the Poverty Alliance which says paying the Living Wage is one of the best ways of tackling in-work poverty.

Helping to enhance homecare across europe
Ageing populations and the correlated increasing levels of chronic ill-health will require tomorrow – if not already today – an enhanced approach to home care. In light of this, a transnational Erasmus research project ‘Carevolution’ has been launched in February 2016 to examine the future role, responsibilities and qualifications of home care workers across Europe.
