Former HND Computing Development Student Thrives as Game Developer.
Silviu Soare, a former HND Computer Games Development student, has successfully transitioned to the University of the West of Scotland (UWS), where he is carrying our an BSc (Hons) in Computer Games Development. Silviu is set to graduate this summer, marking a significant milestone in his journey as a game developer.

Empowering Creative Entrepreneurship with Hermitage Academy
West College Scotland’s ‘Minds of Young Artists’ (MOYA) were delighted to collaborate with Hermitage Academy to foster entrepreneurial spirit among sixth-year students pursuing their NC Creative Industries. Led by Lecturer, Debbie Dennett from the College, the students embarked on a journey of creativity, collaboration, and business acumen.

EIS-FELA May Strikes
EIS-FELA members employed by West College Scotland have been asked by their trade union to undertake strike action on Wednesday 1 May as part of a national pay dispute affecting all colleges across Scotland. We are unable to know in advance how many lecturers may participate.
