What will I learn?
This course is for learners with basic English skills. You will be able to recognise and write the alphabet and simple English words. This course will help with listening and speaking skills so that you can have simple conversations in everyday situations. You will also practise reading and writing skills so that you can understand simple information and write emails, messages, instructions etc in clear, understandable English.

What qualifications do I need?
You don’t need any qualifications. We will ask you to come to college for an English language test. We can then suggest the most suitable course for you.What can I do after?
You can continue to study in ESOL Elementary. Or you may be more confident and find employment in work that requires simple English.
