The date has been set for Scotland to be Net Zero by 2045, this may seems a long way away, but the journey has already started for the construction industry.
It’s estimated that 4 out of 5 buildings we will use in 2045 already exist today. This means that these buildings will require adaptation to comply with carbon neutral regulations. The retrofit of cleaner heating and electrical systems within these buildings is already well underway and is set to be the immediate focus of small enterprise companies like yours.
