Graduates have successfully entered roles in leading salons and renowned industry names as well as starting their own businesses. In collaboration with Bridge2Business, you'll acquire the skills to not only establish yourself as a qualified stylist but also excel in the industry with business knowledge and social media expertise.
What will I learn?
Increase your skills to the next level by completing Level 6 in Hairdressing building on your current practical skills the course will allow you develop your creative techniques whist working on clients within our salon environment.
The highly skilled lecturing team will mentor you through commercial salons and build confidence in working to commercial timelines, developing skills in consultation while working with clients.
You'll learn about:
- Creative Cutting
- Creative Colouring
- Commercial Salon
- Colour Correction
- Gents Hair Cutting
the course also includes a work placement
What qualifications do I need?
You'll need either NC Level 5 Hairdressing OR SVQ Level 2, or have equivalent industry experience. You'll need to demonstrate a passion for hairdressing and be keen to learn new skills.
Currently employed within a salon is essential.
Application will be considered on completion of successful informal interview and confirmation of current skill set.
What can I do after?
After successfully completing this course you'll have the skills needed to get a role as a stylist or junior stylist.
