What will I learn?
This course is designed to provide an engaging, focused learning experience that will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to progress onto our Higher Health and Social Care programme starting in August 2025 in a short time frame.
You'll learn about:
- Care: Human Development & Behaviour
- Care: Social Influences
- Care: Values & Principles
- Communication
- Numeracy
- Introduction to a Career to Social Work
- Introduction to Basic First Aid
What qualifications do I need?
Three National 4 Qualifications, English at C or above would be desirable.
Successfully completed the Transitions 2 Health and Social Care (SCQF 4)
What can I do after?
Successful completion of course may enable progression to Higher Social or Health Care course – SCQF Level 6.
