Overview

What will I learn?

You'll learn about:

  • Developing ideas from concept to final designs
  • Problem solving

  • Products and finishes
  • Colour
  • Rendering techniques
  • Creating a portfolio of your work
  • Working with live clients

You will learn the full design process, including: mind-maps, research, thumbnails, roughs and final solutions. You will do this through sketchbook development and digital design, whilst finding creative solutions to given briefs. You will also get the chance to learn, develop and work with a great design team with many years teaching and industry experience who are multi-award winning.

You'll also work on a broad range of live graphic design projects based on real client briefs.

What qualifications do I need?

There's no formal entry requirement. For a place on the course, you'll need to submit a portfolio of recent work (this doesn’t have to be a ‘formal’ portfolio, you can submit samples of your work) and attend an informal interview.

What can I do after?

This course helps you get a foundation in interior and architectural design.
