Music & Music Business
Overview
What will I learn?
You will learn about:
- Live Music Performance
- Music Rehearsal Skills
- Improving Instrumental Performance (including graded instrument tuition)
- Structure of the Music Business
- Music Theory
This course is designed for musicians who wish to improve and develop their instrumental technique and live performance skills. This is a vocational qualification, meaning that the entire course is based around you gaining real world experience, and all the skills that you develop on the course will match the requirements of being a musician in the music industry
You will be able to create your own curriculum to ensure you are working at whatever level you are at upon entry on your instrument and taking into account your previous experiences. This is achieved by working through the graded instrument curriculum set by world renowned awarding bodies RSL and Trinity. To support you with this, you will receive weekly expert tuition on your first study instrument in order to grow as a musician in terms of technical ability, genre versatility and performance.
