Overview
What will I learn?
This course is designed for musicians who wish to improve and develop their instrumental technique and live performance skills. You will be able to create your own curriculum to ensure you are working at whatever level you are at upon entry. This is achieved by working through the graded instrument curriculum set by world renowned awarding body RSL Awards. To support you with this, you will receive weekly expert tuition on your first study instrument in order to grow as a musician in terms of technical ability, genre versatility and performance.

What qualifications do I need?
There are no formal qualifications required to gain entry on to this course. Entry will be based on how well you perform at audition and we do require you to be able to play one of our supported instruments at a basic level to gain entry. Our supported instruments are bass guitar, drumkit, guitar, keyboards and vocals.
What can I do after?
This course can lead to employment in the music industry as a performing musician.
Successful completion of this course will enable students to apply to further study FE courses or possibly progress to HN level courses in Music, Sound Production or Music Business.

Start Date w/b 20 January 2025
Course duration: 6 months/ 2-3 full days per week
Morning classes: 10am - 12.30pm. Afternoon classes 1.30pm-4pm
