Fully funded courses are free for those who meet the eligibility criteria (resident in Scotland for 3+ years and not studied the course previously). Those who do not meet this criteria can pay for the course.

Charged courses are paid at the time of enrolling via our online payment system.

If you are a company looking to pay for a group of students we can arrange this via invoicing.

For many courses no qualifications or experience are necessary. The college website will detail any entry requirements. As courses are online a basic knowledge of using IT and the Internet is required.

Unless otherwise advertised, our courses are open start courses meaning you will get access to your course normally within 7-10 days after you complete your enrolment.

Each course has a set timeframe. Course lengths vary from 2-20 weeks.

You should be aware before you start your course how long you have to complete.

Online Learning Courses are flexible and we can offer extensions to completion dates within reason.

Yes all course materials are available online via our learning platforms.

Course work must be completed by the student alone.

Each course is different. For example, a 160 hour course over 20 weeks would take roughly 8 hours per week. Each course has its hours and weeks so you can work out how much time you have to put in.

Courses are fully online where you will be submitting your assessments via the online learning platform.

Once you have submitted your first unit you will get access to many resources: MyWest college App, Wellbeing, Counselling, Digital Student Card, Office 365 as well as On campus Library facilities.
