What will I learn?

A recent Skills Survey carried out by the college shows that employers are looking for staff to enhance their management and leadership skills. This course is for those looking to develop their lean organisation techniques and the skills to work effectively in a team

This online course will assist you with using business improvement techniques, enhance organisational skills and developing an effective team working relationship.

Topics within the course are:

  • Lean Organisation Techniques in Business
  • Business Improvement Techniques
  • Effective Team Work in Business

This is a marked course which requires short essay style answers, screenshots and viewing of datafiles to allow your assigned marker to be able to identify that you have understood the skills and knowledge to meet the required standards.

This is a fully online course and access to the materials and Assessments will be emailed to you.

What qualifications do I need?

As this course is delivered online it would be beneficial if the candidate had basic competence in IT and the internet.

This course does not require a personal statement.

What can I do after?

This course provides progression onto online learning courses e.g. Team Leading. It is also a good course for those in a first line management role or hoping to progress their career into a management area.

You could complete in 10 weeks or use the full 20 weeks- it's up to you.

Please be aware that you could be withdrawn from your course if submission dates are vastly overdue. If at any point you are struggling with deadlines you should contact us for an extension which we will assign where possible.

On successful completion and confirmation of results following internal processes, you will receive your college e-certificate which you can print and/or save for your records. Please note a fee may be required if a hard copy certificate is requested
