This course is part of the Scottish Wider Access Programme (SWAP)and is aimed at adults who want to return to education and to progress to degree or HNC study. The SWAP partnership with Universities in the West of Scotland will provide you with the opportunity to apply to a wide range of degrees. On successful completion of your programme, the partnership will provide you with the opportunity to study on a relevant higher education course at college or university.

 

What qualifications do I need?

This course is for mature students who have been out of education for at least 5 years and have little or no qualifications, or qualifications that are out of date.

For a place on this course, you will need to attend an interview where you will be asked to submit a short piece of written work.

What can I do after?

After successfully completing this course you can progress to study:

  • A degree in a wide range of subjects including (but not restricted to): Psychology, Law, History, Politics, Sociology, Social Work, Archaeology, Business, Marketing, Accountancy and Languages.
  • HNC Social Science
  • HNC Counselling
  • HNC Social Care
  • HNC Business Studies

Other HNC articulation routes are available.
