Thirty-seven-year-old Izabela Zurek from Glasgow came to college with the aim of improving her IT Skills which would allow her to embark on a new career in Administration.
Izabela said,
“I was working as a Care Assistant, and wanted to come to college to improve my IT skills in particular MS Office. I chose this course because of the units in medical terminology, word processing and IT solutions for Administrators, and have enjoyed learning about spreadsheets and databases."
‘I really enjoyed the work placement, which allowed me to gain some hands-on experience in general administration and put into practice the knowledge and skills learned in class.
‘Overall, the course has helped improve my computer skills and my confidence, all of which will increase my employment opportunities which was my goal.
‘Now that I’ve completed the course I am seeking employment with a company where I can look to grow and pursue further career progression.
