Back in 1991, Miriam Duffin, a married mother of two young girls, became one of the very first students to complete a SWAP programme.
Along with eight other students, she studied on the Access to Primary Education. She then went on to earn her qualification to become a primary school teacher, and has enjoyed a long and rewarding career.
Twenty-eight years later, Miriam's daughter Katie has followed in her mother's footsteps. Katie has just completed her Access to Primary Education programme at our Paisley Campus and she is now planning to move on to the University of Glasgow to study primary teaching.
