39-year-old Reza Roudsaz originally from Iran talks about his Upper intermediate course at West College Scotland.

Here’s what he had to say:

I was attracted to the College due to the supportive staff and their kind attention and guidance.

I was really interested in learning and improving my English.

I found the course went at a good pace – especially as my teachers Andrea and Daljit taught the course simply and easily without stress! I was very comfortable during the learning and their efficient guidance and teaching methods during the term. Our lecturers were supportive and would pay attention and listen to our problems and help as far as they could do.

We had regular guidance meeting with our teachers to express any issues or problems and likewise the lecturers would tell us about any areas we needed to improve upon.

I really enjoyed in all parts of course, but I was more interested in “teamwork” aspects of the class, where we worked together.

My advice would be to always do what the lecturers tell you – and make sure to do your homework.

West College Scotland was a great place to learn English and I learned a lot and improved my English skills there. I’d recommend the College for the great teaching, supportive staff and good atmosphere on the Clydebank campus.

Next year, I’ve applied for HN computing with Cyber Security, after this I’d like to continue to university to get my degree.
