IT Facilities
Each campus Library boasts a suite of PCs, all with internet access and Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and OneDrive. Laptops are available for students to borrow from our self-service LapSafe units. Free Wi-Fi access through EduRoam allows you to connect to your smartphone, tablet device or laptop.
eResources
We provide access to a growing number of electronic resources to support studies, including eBooks, journals, databases, videos and image banks. These can be accessed both directly in college and at home with your OpenAthens account. This guide provides more information on the resources available.
Books and Journals
All students enrolled in the college automatically become members of the library. We have an extensive collection of print materials, including course textbooks, revision guides, quick reads, fiction, graphic novels, local history and wellbeing, all of which are available to borrow. Each month, we feature displays that focus on specific subject areas or highlight relevant topics such as mental health awareness, wellbeing, and sustainability.
Support
Our Library Team will support and advise you on how to access and use library services. This includes providing guidance and tutorials in person or via MS Teams, accessing resources using OpenAthens, searching online resources and explaining how to reference research and cite sources in your assignments.
Printing
Each campus library has printing, scanning and photocopying facilities.
