There are a number of funding programmes which employers and individuals can access to help pay for training and skills development.
Funding Options
A number of government agencies and industry organisations provide funding options for companies and individuals to help with training and professional development. Our award-winning Business Development team can help with a funding solution which best suits you.
- The Flexible Workforce Development Fund
Employers which are paying the Apprenticeship Levy can apply to the Flexible Workforce Development Fund (FWDF or “The fund”). Click here to find out more or call our business liaison team on 0800 052 9612. - Individual Training Account (ITAs)
For those who meet the criteria, many of our professional development programmes can be financed with support from an Individual Training Account (ITA). You can keep up to date with the latest ITA information here. - Modern Apprenticeships
Help towards sourcing of relevant vocational training and contribution towards training costs. - Adopt an Apprentice If you employ a redundant apprentice for at least 12 months, you will receive £2,000 to help with recruitment and wage costs. Find out more here or call 0800 783 6000
- SAAS (Students Awards Agency Scotland) Funding
The Scottish Government provides financial support to eligible students doing a course of higher education in the UK including students studying on part time course. For details of the application process and eligibility please access here. - Skills Development Scotland
