In partnership with the Scottish Wider Access Programme (SWAP), West College Scotland is excited to announce the launch of its innovative two-year Access to Medical Studies programme. This pioneering course, offered by only 3 colleges in Scotland, is designed to provide aspiring students with a robust foundation in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, and Communications, preparing them for successful entry into a range of Medicine, Pharmacy, Health, and Biomedical Science degrees at leading universities across the West.
Tailored for adult learners currently out of education, the two-year programme, goes beyond academic development, providing students with essential skills and qualities for the next step in their education journey. Successful completion of the courses opens doors to a variety of medical and science-related career paths including eligibility for MBChB Medicine at the University of Glasgow as well as various alternative degree options such as Pharmacy, Biomedicine, and Life Science with partners at University of West of Scotland, Stirling University, University of Strathclyde and Glasgow Caledonian University.
