An industry-based work placement will take place in the HND Accounting year.
What qualifications do I need?
You’ll need to have successfully completed HNC Accounting course, preferably with 15 credit passes and a graded unit pass at A or B.
Alternatively, you may have completed a Fast Track 12 credit HNC and as such you will need to complete an additional 3 credits over the academic year.
What can I do after?
After successfully completing this course, you’ll have the skills needed to get an entry level role as a trainee accountant. Successful completion of the HND Accounting course will allow for exemptions from a range of professional accounting exams – ACCA, CIMA, AAT.
You could develop your skills further by progressing to a university course – there is the possibility of accessing Year 3 of a range of university courses.
