Overview
What will I learn?
Our lecturing team who have a wealth of experience of working in the childhood practice field, will support your learning in the following areas
- Child Development and Health
- Practice of Play
- Process of Play
- Working with Children and Young People
- Supporting Children’s Rights
- Care and Feeding of Children
Through opportunities on the course to work with young children, you will develop your practical and employability skills.
What qualifications do I need?
You must have evidence of working at level 5 and demonstrate an interest in children's learning and development.
What can I do after?
After successfully completing this course, you will have the knowledge and skills needed to get a role a supporting role.
Or you could develop your skills further by studying another course, such as:
- NC in Early Education and Childcare
- Higher Health Care
- Higher Social Care
- NC Childhood Practice
