Overview
What will I learn?
This course is designed to enhance your existing barbering skills and maximise your potential as a fully trained barber with advanced techniques.
This course follows SVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
Providing you with skills in:
- Design and Create Facial Hair Shapes using Advanced Techniques
- Provide Shaving Services using a Straight Razor with Siingle Use Blades
- Combine Barbering Cutting and Clipper Techniques to Create a Bespoke Restyled Look
- Design and Create Hair Designs and Shapes in the Hair, using Advanced Clipper and Razor Techniques
- Undertake Freelance Work
- Work Experience
- Hairstyling
What qualifications do I need?
SVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
Industry experience and competent practical skills in hairdressing/barbering
What can I do after?
Fully qualified barber able to work in a barber salon or freelance within industry.

Programme Information
Start: w/b 20 January 2025
End: w/e 30 May 2025
Time: 9am-4pm
Applicants must secure a placement in Barber/Salon for a minimum of 9 hours per week
