Graduates have successfully entered roles in leading salons and renowned industry names as well as starting their own businesses. In collaboration with Bridge2Business, you'll acquire the skills to not only establish yourself as a qualified stylist but also excel in the industry with business knowledge and social media expertise.
What will I learn?
The Level 4 hairdressing allows you to start at the beginning with skills such as cutting, styling shampooing and conditioning the hair . The course will allow you develop key skills required to undertake a salon placement throughout your course giving you an insight in to how Salons operate and the role of the salon junior.
Successful graduated moved directly to year 2 to enhance their basic knowledge and skills gained in hairdressing.
You'll learn about:
- Shampooing and conditioning
- Blow drying
- Styling
- Basic cutting
- Introduction to Colouring Services
- Introduction to Gents Barbering
- Employability Skills
What qualifications do I need?
There is formal entry requirement however a successful informal interview will be required before a place is offered on the course. Your passion, creativity, vision and willingness to learn about this industry will help you to gain a place on this course.
What can I do after?
;After successfully completing the course you will be able to apply for a job as a salon assistant
Or you could develop your skills further by studying another course, such as:
- NC Hairdressing (Level 5)
SVQ L2 MA Modern Apprenticeship Programme may be considered.
