Overview
What will I learn?
Candidates will gain knowledge and understanding of the preparation for and administration of medication according to current national guidelines and this will include organisational policy and procedures.
What qualifications do I need?
Care workers involved in the administration of medication however this award is also at SQCF level 7/SVQ level 3 therefore some degree of academic writing skills and individual learning is essential. Formal written agreement from the candidate’s employer is required for this award as direct observation of candidate’s practice in the workplace is a mandatory component of this PDA.

Programme Information
Start Date: 11 March 2025 for 12 weeks (no class on 8th &15th April 2025)
Part-time course totalling 24 hours online tutorials plus 36 hours allocated to workplace observation and completion of SVQ unit including 12 online tutorial session over 12 weeks.
